Four Flags Area Credit Union (FFACU) collects nonpublic information from our members and other outside sources. We recognize the responsibility to protect our members' personal information. We comply with all state and federal regulations regarding the transmission of private information including information used while conducting business by way of the Internet, ATM Networks, wire services, telephone, U.S. Mail and other means of communication. Information we collect about you
FFACU will only collect personal information about our members that is necessary for business purposes and allowed by law. This information will be retained so that we can provide the products and services you request.
Use and sharing of information
We disclose information under certain circumstances and as permitted or required by law. In some cases we make agreements with third parties to provide these products and services or to jointly market services. For example, we may provide information to make insurance products available at reduced premiums. We require such companies to use your information only for the reasons we have approved. If you withdraw your membership we will not share your information, except as permitted or required by law.
Confidentiality and security of information
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and official families who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Former member information
When an individual who was a member of our credit union is no longer a member, this credit union will maintain only the information that is necessary to provide those products and services that the individual is receiving at the time of becoming a member, as the law and regulations requires, and consistent with the Record Retention Policy, or in order to contact the nonmember about reactivating their membership with our credit union.
Accuracy of information
FFACU will follow prudent measures to ensure accuracy of both its records and your personal information. When brought to our attention, all inaccuracies will be immediately corrected.
If you have any questions concerning the accuracy of your personal information please call a FFACU representative. We request that you keep us informed of any changes such as address, name and e-mail address, so that you may receive the maximum benefit from your credit union.
