Credit Union Merger Announcement

We have exciting news – our partnership with Great River Federal Credit Union has been approved by the membership! This has been a work in progress since early summer of last year. The Board of Directors spent a lot of time researching and negotiating this opportunity and their first concern was for our team of employees and secondly, the members. The Great River philosophy mirrors Four Flags Area Credit Union's philosophy in taking care of our members, learning your story, and offering products and solutions with you in mind.


Our merger with Great River Federal Credit Union will be effective on 3/1/2022. Our dedicated team will all still be here to take care of your needs. 
This is truly a partnership and will allow us to grow and offer enhanced technology, business accounts, additional lending opportunities, debit and credit rewards programs, and the list goes on. Some of the changes will increase the productivity behind the scenes and allow our team to dedicate more time to you, our members. We are excited to jump into all the new products that we can offer you, our members. Every change that we make is with you, the member, in mind.


We will begin a data processing conversion to a new company, along with a building refresh in the next year. Watch for further communications on these projects, and more, in the coming months. We will keep you involved and informed of our progress.


I would like to personally thank our membership for the wonderful response to our mailing regarding the merger and returning their ballots. This shows what a truly engaged membership that we have.
